Zanuy Tortilla chip is made with only one cereal (corn), based on the traditional mexican recipe for this product which is a ground stone process.
During the process the whole grain is cooked and soaked, finally is extruded in triangular shape and then goes through an oven and finally its fried and flavoured. It is important to said the majority of the Tortilla Chip producers are making similar products, but coming from a mix of processed flours. The level of control that Liven has in its raw material, is not achievable by these competitors. Most of them externalize their processed flours for making their tortilla chips.
Some of the most relevant claims of this product are that, it’s a Gluten Free Product, GMO Free, RSPO, Halal and Zero trans-fat.
